Geisha Glow is a tourism destination website designed to promote travel to iconic Japanese destinations such as Kyoto. The platform showcases the rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty of the region, providing a comprehensive resource for travelers. The project includes the development of both a desktop and mobile-optimized site, ensuring a seamless and immersive UX/UI experience across devices.

Ideation

The initial vision for the layout of the website was to make something that looked modern and highly structured. Accordingly, it the layout was heavily guided by a system of boxes within boxes. It was also important that Japanese imagery was incorporated in all areas from the hero image, carousels, and even as background texture.
