Rebrand concept of MTV, specifically designed to resonate with the values and sensibilities of the modern Gen Z audience: a generation who prioritizes authenticity, self-expression, and inclusivity, and seeks platforms that amplify voices that challenge conventions. EXPOZE is a music discovery app that curates and celebrates artists who embody these ideals—those who unapologetically represent their diverse communities and champion individuality in their work. The iridescent color palette and puzzle piece motif represent the desire to stand out, to reveal more about oneself rather than conform to norms.

The challenge with creating EXPOZE was emphasizing the authenticity and individuality that attracts younger audiences. MTV is currently seen as nostalgic/more of a millennial phenomenon, and EXPOZE is an attempt at breathing new life into the iconic brand.
The name EXPOZE is a double entendre referencing both the word expose, and celebrity exposés, both of which connote the idea of removing an outer facade, and unearthing one's true, authentic self. Because younger demographics value individuality highly, it was important to make the logo feel hand drawn and stylized. Juxtaposed against a very simple and straightforward Grotesk typeface, the logo is meant to stand out.

The puzzle is an important overarching motif for EXPOZE. Puzzle pieces typically symbolize conformity and 'fitting into place.' However, the iridescent color palette and the extruded nature of the piece signify uniquity and boldness.
